SLAPTON Bowling Club are holding their annual charity day this weekend, supporting Children’s Hospice South West and Bidwell Brook School in Dartington.

The event, which will see the proceeds split equally between the two causes, is being held at Slapton Village Hall on Sunday, April 3.

This is the 13th year the club has run a charity day and is proud to have raised £12,000 for local good causes in that time. This year the event is being sponsored by Steve and Laura Shute of SMVR Ltd at Garden Mill Industrial Estate, Kingsbridge.
