REDFORD Meadow in Kingsbridge held a birthday party to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday last weekend.
Guests were surprised by an unexpected visitor who arrived just in time for the birthday tea - a cardboard cut out of Her Majesty.
Redford Meadow has provided retirement and sheltered housing in the west of the town since it was built in 1984.
New residents are accepted from 60 years of age, and there is an active program of social activities for all residents, including bingo and coffee mornings.
