St Edmund’s Church in Kingsbridge are welcoming The Devon Bird of Prey Centre next week, giving a rare opportunity to get close to birds of prey.
Susanne Akam-Smith, churchwarden, said: “We are delighted to provide the community of Kingsbridge and its visitors this rare opportunity for a close encounter to some of the worlds most spectacular Birds of Prey.
“Take this opportunity to come and meet Amber the Eagle Owl, Willow the Barn Owl and others. Learn more about these amazing birds from their expert handlers, who so passionately and expertly look after these amazing birds.”
The event is free to attend, with homemade cream teas and cakes. Susanne added: “This will be an experience you and your family and friends will not want to miss!”
