What a coincidence that you should publish a letter from Gary Edgecombe, Gazette, September 11, in which he ­complains about our MP Sarah Wollaston’s lack of action on Salcombe potholes on the same day that she, as chair of the Commons Health Select Committee, was making an important contribution to the Commons debate on assisted dying.

I wonder where most people would place these two items on our MP’s agenda?
