Sid the cat has been missing from Loddiswell for the last nine days, something that his owners say is "very out of character".

Sid is very friendly and is known to visit neighbours, but his owner’s daughter Jessica is now worrying and asking when he is coming home.

His owner, Amanda Smith said: "He’s vocal too, likes to get in cars, garages, sheds, anywhere! Our little girl Jessica is missing him dearly, like us, and keeps asking when he’s coming home, breaking our hearts."

Sid doesn’t wear a collar but is microchipped.
