I would like to ask people who exercise their dogs in Duncombe Park, Kingsbridge, to do so quietly early in the morning, late in the evening and during the night, for example between 10pm and 7.30am.

Duncombe Park acts like an amphitheatre in the centre of the town, which means the sound is often louder in the houses rising up around it than on the grass itself.

I am a dog owner and enjoying taking Poppy into the park on a regular basis but dogs barking late in the evening and early in the morning are preventing those living around the park from getting enough sleep.

It is mainly, but not exclusively, dogs getting excited while chasing balls thrown for them that cause the noise, and we would be very grateful if this would stop.
