THREE sisters from Kingsbridge are to sacrifice their hair in honour of ’all the brave battlers’ fighting cancer.

The Rogers sisters Krista, 28, Jody, 26 and Nikki, 16, are having their hair shaved on Wednesday, August 31.

They are fundraising for Cancer Research UK, and will also be donating their shorn locks to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that makes wigs for children that have lost their own hair as a result of cancer treatment.

The three say they would love to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK, and are also taking part in the Pretty Muddy five kilometre Race for Life in Plymouth in October.
