KINGSBRIDGE Police officers were outside Tesco today cycling for charity.

Kingsbridge Police officers including Sgt Dave Green, PC Dave Tungate, PCSO Paul O’Dwyer, PCSO Ash Hawkes and PCSO Warren Palmer are helping cycle the length of the UK in support of the British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK.

Organiser Gerrie Messer said: ’We asked the guys at the police station for help and they obliged. We’ve even got a couple of customers volunteering to cycle some miles tomorrow!’

The officers will be outside Tesco in Kingsbridge tomorrow too.
