MORE than 200 people attended the Cancer Research UK Kingsbridge committee’s annual big breakfast at the Methodist Hall, raising £1,951 for the charity.

The committee has been active in Kingsbridge for more than 50 years, and they have been organising the ‘big breakfasts’ every year for about 20 years.

Alison Rose-Price said: ‘Once again, it was enjoyed by all the ladies on the committee and all the people having breakfast.

‘We would like to thank all of our followers, many who come every year - and also the generous support we received from our various local suppliers.’
