My recent horrible experience from a person selling her house. Having made an offer which was accepted on a house in Kingsbridge just after Christmas we went ahead immediately as we had nothing to sell.

Surveys and all searches were all done and ready for exchange. Then the bombshell came, the vendor decided to up the price by £8,000.

Not being able to pay this extra amount at the point of exchange, the vendor withdrew the property from the market.

Everyone was amazed that she choose to do this at exchange. It’s unkind and very hurtful, we were so looking forward to a new start.

Now we are left with a lot of bills to pay and no property.

It must be time to go like Scotland and end all this upset.

The property is now back on the market at a lower price. How strange.
