MERRY-Go-Round Preschool hosted a fashion show on Monday night, raising money for their new satellite centre.

The organisation are opening a new satellite preschool at Charleton School in the new year and raised around £700 at the event to go towards vital equipment for the new project.

Spectators were greeted with a Prosecco cocktail at West Charleton Village Hall on Monday, December 7, before settling down to an evening of fashion.

Cocoa in Kingsbridge supplied the clothes for the show, with different styles for a winter walk or a big night out.

Rebekah Etoe and Claire Pershing of Pop Up Salon provided the hair and make-up for the event, and performed hair and makeup demonstrations, while Kelly from The Haven Spa gave a facial demonstration.

Models included Charlotte Hodgeson, Jill Mottram, Beth Smith, Rachel Brett, Katie-Marie Boon, Jemma Goodwin, Christina Bateman and Carly Burlison.

A raffle also added to the funds for the preschool, with donations of prizes from Coast and Country Cottages, Stokeley Farm Shop, Durrants Butchers, Stella and Dot Jewellery and the Haven Spa.
