Various framed collages and art pieces from young exhibitors at the Kingsbridge Show will be on display at a local gallery during half term.

Children who had displays in the ‘Children’s Arts and Crafts’ section of the show will have the opportunity to see their work framed at the Tidal Gallery in Kingsbridge.

Gallery owner Anna Ventura offered to show the children’s work during half term week and says she is “delighted” to be able to support the young artists.

There were around 300 entries into the show this year, and will all be on display at the gallery, along with some pictures taken on the day.

Chief steward of the arts and crafts section of the show, Apple Taylor, says she is “always busy looking for sponsors for the section,” and this year saw new support from local businesses such as The Harbour Bookshop and The Trading Post, “who generously gave cups and prizes”.

“With the chance to see their work displayed in a professional gallery, the children really had a good incentive to get creative this year!” Apple said.

The exhibition is open from 2pm onward from October 20-27, and all are welcome.
