A CAR was damaged in Morrisons in Kingsbridge and the owner is now looking for the person who left a note.

Hazel Hassall’s dark blue Ford Puma was parked in Morrisons’ lower car park on Wednesday, February 24, and was damaged between 3.25 and 3.35pm.

‘White paint was left on my wheel arch and wing mirror,’ said Hazel, ‘There was also mud scuffed along my tire and on my wheel arch where the considerable dents were. This leads me to believe that it was a muddy, white vehicle larger than my Puma!

‘A note was left on my car on a white envelope with the name ’Isca’ or possibly ‘Isla’ scribbled out. The note was apologetic and a phone number was left. Unfortunately when dialled it is unobtainable.

‘Was the person so flustered they wrote their number down mistakenly incorrectly? Did anyone see any of this happen?’

If anyone has any information, even if they think insignificant, Hazel would like to hear from you on 07718 187469.

When she appealed for help on a local Facebook site, members were very helpful with their suggestions but unfortunately have led nowhere.

Morrison’s have looked back through their CCTV but the images aren’t clear enough and the police have been informed.
