The Youth and Business Achievement awards are back for their third year, organised by the 16-24 Work Club Kingsbridge.

This year they will take place on Tuesday, November 28, but they needed a bigger venue, so this year it will be at Kingsbridge Community College Sixth Form.

She Hard, 16-24 Work Club Kingsbridge, said: “The YABAA’s recognise, celebrate and inspire local 16–24-year-olds and local businesses to continue jointly building a positive productive community to work and live in.

“Calling all the local brilliant trade businesses - builders, carpenters, electricians, mechanics, plumbers and others, in our area. We need you.”?The club are looking for sponsorship for the categories and the awards night. Sha continued: “Show your customers you are helping the local community and the next generation. Without sponsorship, the awards would not happen.”

Anyone who would like to sponsor a category or the awards night itself, is urged to get in contact with the club soon.

The award categories this year are Apprentice of the Year, Apprenticeship Employer of the Year, the ‘Legacy Award’ - Jack Tanner Award, Learner of the Year, Employer of the Year, Entrepreneurial 16-24-year-old/s, Volunteer/Peer Mentor/Enabler of the Year with a new category to be revealed for 2017.
