TWO of the three access routes to Kingsbridge have roadworks on them as resurfacing and sewer works are undertaken during half term.

Roads surrounding the Bantham roundabout are currently being resurfaced, with a convoy and temporary speed limits in place, while a sewer is being lined on West Alvington Hill.

The A379 through churchstow currently has a temporary speed limit beginning from the Churchstow roundabout - Palegate Cross - through the village and out to the Bantham roundabout - Bantham Cross - with a convoy ferrying traffic between the Churchstow Industrial Estate and the Bantham roundabout.

Convoys and temporary speed limits are also in place on the A381, the A379 and the Bantham Road as they all converge on Bantham Cross.

Devon County Council are responsible for the resurfacing works which are expected to last until Wednesday, November 2.

On West Alvington Hill, South West Water are working to line a sewer, meaning temporary traffic lights are in place between the entrance to the Station Yard Industrial Estate to Kingsbridge Community College. This is expected to be cleared by Thursday, October 27.
