I have just returned from 10 months in Africa.
I was comforted by the fact that in my mind my internet connection here would be faultless compared to many different services that were offered there.
I actually didn’t even think that there would be any issues anywhere in the UK.
That is not the case. The service on my first full day back in Bigbury on Sea has had 30 crashes and the quality of signal is barely scratching the surface. I gather from other people living here that this is a recent phenomena, notwithstanding the area is currently saturated with BT Outreach vans.
Our dilemma is more exacerbated as I am hearing that BT is proving difficult in this matter to the point that one of my neighbours has told me that they are ‘at war’ with them. Clearly not a healthy situation as it seems the expectation being that we should grin and bear it.
I don’t mind (except I do really ) but they are taking a shed load of cash out of my bank account for not only a substandard service but one they seem to want to turn a blind eye to.
