The results of the referendum on whether or not to adopt the Thurlestone Parish Neighbourhood Plan are in.

Residents of Thurlestone, Bantham and West Buckland went to the polls yesterday, voting on whether or not to adopt the plan.
The turnout was 60.74 per cent, with the average for a local election being around 32 per cent. 92.67 per cent voted in favour, with 7.33 per cent voting against.
392 people voted, with just 31 voting ’no’ with one spoiled ballot.
