We spend millions of pounds each week to be a member of a club that flouts our democratic laws; insists that we take in ­foreigners – often with criminal records – ad lib; and forces us to buy foodstuffs from European farmers instead of from our Commonwealth friends who supported us up to the hilt through two world wars.
