A LARGE stone frieze will be unveiled at Holy Trinity, Salcombe on Sunday, as part of the Nine Lessons Christmas service.
The work by Jim Martins focuses on the abundance of life in the Kingsbridge and Salcombe estuary. The four limestone plaques detail bread, fish, crab, the church, the war memorial, a whole scene of Salcombe and what the place means to the people who live there.
The Nine Lessons service begins at 6.30pm on Sunday, December 20 at Holy Trinity, Salcombe. For further information about the sculpture, visit Jim’s website: www.jimmartinssculptor.co.uk.
