SAVE the Children is hosting a Charity Gala Dinner at the Thurlestone Hotel on Saturday, October 8. The event, featuring an three course meal and music from the high energy covers band ‘Society Rocks’, will also feature a charity auction and raffle with quality prizes.

Volunteer organiser Ian Coulton said: ‘We wanted to hold a high profile charity event in the South Hams, providing an evening of great entertainment and the opportunity to dress up and have a fun whilst supporting this vital cause.

‘The Thurlestone Hotel is a wonderful venue, and we are very excited to be organising this event in such a beautiful part of Devon.’

The charity states on their website: ‘Save the Children believes every child deserves a future. In the UK and around the world, we give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm.
