SALTSTONE Caring are raising money with a Garden Party in West Alvington next Saturday.
Whether you love beautiful English gardens or homemade cakes and tea, there can be no better way to while away a sunny afternoon in September than at a Garden Party in the grounds of Bowringsleigh, West Alvington, especially when it is all in aid of local community charity, Saltstone Caring.
Being held by kind permission of Mr and Mrs Michael Manisty, visitors are invited to this rare opportunity to enjoy their much admired gardens from 2pm–5pm on Saturday, September 10. With refreshments available, a plant stall, tombola, jewellery, bric-a-brac and much more, entrance is just £3 for adults and free for children.
‘Events such as these are vital fund raisers for Saltstone Caring and we are hugely grateful to Mr and Mrs Manisty for their kind offer to host a Garden Party for us at Bowringsleigh’, explained Brian Lowe, Chairman of Saltstone Caring.
‘We could not continue to provide the community services we do without either our wonderful volunteers or support from all those people who come along to our events and help raise much needed funds.’
