A DOORSTEP collection in aid of Syrian refugees is being organised in Malborough on Friday, April 1 from 10am.
The collection is being organised by two residents in the village on behalf of the UK Action for Refugees.
A spokesperson from the group said: ‘The Syrian refugees are in more need than ever, we will be taking as much a we can to Nina Coulson of the UK Action for Refugees, to send out to Greece and Syria.
‘We need washed, ironed, folded, quality, warm, sensible clothes for all ages, but for adults in particularly.
‘If you wouldn’t wear it please don’t donate it. The refugees are people like us. They do not want stained, worn clothing.’
