Having recently met MP Sarah Wollaston again, I was pleased to hear that she is resolutely standing by her decision to vote Remain, even though it may mean her deselection by her constituency party.

I was appalled to read the vituperative comments written by her once-staunch supporters and the resurgent UKIPers.

I thought we were a democracy with the freedom to vote however we wish, whoever we are.

I am sure this MP will not be swayed by such comments, knowing more abour parliamentary processes and infighting than the amateur politicians who havwe sent in these contributions.

Nobody really knows what will happen after Brexit, perhaps it is better to stay with the ‘status quo’ than ‘go with the flow’ and the ‘status don’t know’?
