SOUTH Hams not-for-profit leisure centre operator Tone has made another generous donation to the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust.
Throughout October, the social enterprise donated the five pound joining fees of new members to the trust, the charity chosen to benefit from this year’s fundraising across the four South Hams sites at Kingsbridge, Ivybridge, Totnes and Dartmouth.
The latest donation of £695 comes after Tone Leisure staff raised more than a thousand pounds for Hannahs with a sponsored skydive earlier in the year. The money raised will go towards a new minibus.
Hannahs fundraising manager Emily Severn said: ‘A big thank you to all the team at Tone Leisure for their enthusiasm and passion for our work with children and adults with disabilities.
‘All the staff at Tone Leisure have continued to find new and exciting ways to raise vital funds for Hannahs, from their membership initiative to taking on challenge events – everyone at Hannahs really appreciates the ongoing support.’
Tone Leisure’s managing director Juliette Dickinson added: ‘Raising money for local charities has always been a passion within all our centres.
‘Both customers and staff have always been very charitable and we’d like to thank everyone for their continued support. Dame Hannah Rogers Trust is a fantastic charity that does outstanding work both at Ivybridge and Seale-Hayne.’
