MALBOROUGH Monster Mash saw a fresh line-up once again as music and dancing filled the Malborough Village Hall on Saturday.

Formed when well-known local man Dave Sharp was diagnosed with cancer in 2008, and now in its eighth year, the event raises money to help young musicians develop their talent as well as cancer charities.

This year’s line up saw an amazing set by Dave Sharp Young Musicians as the Workshop Band, which never fail to impress, alongside Kingsbridge Food and Music Festival headliners The Sheiks and Classic Rock Co, fronted by local legend, blues rock guitarist and singer song writer Ray Minhinnett.

Other acts to take the stage and make sure the event rocked into the night included Tinned Fruit, Malavita, Bulletproof Future, Jaz Gosling, Alice Emberton and the Kingsbridge Community College Jazz Collective, who opened the show.

‘It was a brilliant atmosphere, great bands and booze was on tap!’ said Beth Smith, ‘The food that was provided was delicious and an excellent event for families too!’
