Thank you for the article and photograph in last week’s Gazette highlighting the episode of fly-tipping in Modbury in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Gazette, September 16.

South Hams Council is to be commended for the speedy removal of the rubbish. It had gone by the time the paper was published.
