A KINGSBRIDGE resident has been the victim of a hit and run while de-icing her car and police are appealing for witnesses.
The woman, who declined to be named, was de-icing her car on Foss Road in Kingsbridge on Monday morning around 8.15-8.30am, when she was struck by the wing mirror of a silver, mark 4 Volkswagen Golf, leaving her with a fractured elbow. The car apparently came out of Buckwell Road and headed towards the primary school.
She was unable to get the registration plate, but Kingsbridge Police are urging anyone with any information to come forward. If you know anything, call the police on 101 and leave a message for PC 4698 James Timmis.
