MEMBERS of Frogmore Art Group were delighted to welcome visitors to an exhibition of their work over the sunny Bank Holiday weekend.

Su Beswick, Frogmore Art Club, said: ‘Numerous friends, relatives, locals and those on holiday popped in as a steady stream during the two day event to view a large selection of art work featuring a wide range of subjects, styles and mediums.’

Led by professional art tutor, Ian Carr, Frogmore Art Group meets weekly on Monday mornings throughout the year in Frogmore Village Hall where the exhibition took place.

Speaking afterwards, Ian said: ‘Our exhibition is always a lovely way for members to celebrate their art endeavours and to gain confidence in their work and individual style.

‘It’s fun to come together like this and it’s great to see the public’s enthusiasm and appreciation of our members’ efforts and developing skills. I’m sure the event will encourage and inspire everyone even more and we look forward to next year’s show.’

Frogmore Art Group is open to beginners and more seasoned painters who enjoy painting and drawing and who want to hone their creative techniques with a tutor present.
