A DARTMOUTH man has denied a charge of drink/ driving in the town.

Joseph Collins is accused of driving a motorbike on Nelson Road on February 7 this year after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath, namely 99 micrograms in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit which is 35.

He was remanded on unconditional bail to appear at Plymouth Magistrates Court on June 30.

Collins is also accused of having no insurance to which he has also pleaded not guilty.
