A car clipped the bank, hit a telephone pole, flipped onto its side and ended up on its wheels this morning just outside West Charleton. Police were called this morning at around 9am after a car flipped, snapped a telephone pole in half and landed back on its wheels.

Sgt Dave Green explained that the vehicle had clipped the bank, flipped and landed back on its wheels this morning and is currently waiting for recovery.The driver is thought to be uninjured but has been taken to Derriford Hospital as a precaution and no other vehicle was involved.

Thanks to staff from Kingsbridge Autos who happened to be passing, the car was moved over to one side of the carriageway, allowing traffic to continue past and the road is open.
