Many people from all over the country will be making the trip to be one of the royal fans lining the streets of Windsor for the big wedding next week, including one of our local residents.

Jenny Lake of Barton Close, Kingsbridge has been a keen royals fan for many years, and looks forward to seeing Harry and Meghan tie the knot in their open top carriage on Saturday, May 19.

Jenny was a volunteer at Hampton Court Palace for many years when she lived in Surrey. Since moving to Kingsbridge in 2016 to be near her daughter and granddaughters, she has remained a devoted fan.

This will be her second royal wedding after she was at Pall Mall when William and Kate married in April 2011.
