A charity dog show in aid of the RNLI and Gables Farm Dogs and Cats Home will be in Dartmouth on Sunday.

The Dartmouth Dog Show 2017 will be held on Sunday, April 23, from 11am on Coronation Park.

Organiser Mia Cameron said: “All dogs welcome, small, big, young, old, hyper, shy, quiet, piggy or loud – we’d love them all to come and play.”

Each category costs £1 to enter with classes such as Cutest Puppy – up to six months, Cutest Puppy – over six months, Best Veteran, Best Twin Looking Dogs, Dog and Owner Look Alike, Strangest Looking Friends, Prittiest Bitch, Most Handsome Dog, Most Obedient Dog, Best Child Handler, Best Rescue Dog and Best Dressed Dog.

One lucky dog will also be looking to be adopted on the day. The lucky canine will be brought to the show by Gables Farm Dogs and Cats Home, a local non-euthanasia shelter in Plympton.

Raffle prizes have been donated by local businesses and tickets are available from the Market Square Pet Shop.

Also on show will be the Canine Capers – a dog agility group who will be showing off their skills, as well as the RNLI who will bring along one of their lifeboats for the children to see and explore, and much more.
